Jesus Christ. I am torn, conflicted, hoping and praying for an immediate resolution at all costs.
How can one make sense of let alone draw conclusions from the present election situation. I did not vote. That is the truth. It has nothing to do with exercising my god given rights but rather, I am conflicted to my core. In the immediate present moment, I like President Trump. After successfully depositing my $1700 check for literally nothing, he is a new sort of savior for the middle class whether people give him credit or not. Ask yourself, when in your whole life have you ever had free money to help you through a hard situation, no questions or strings attached, quite like that? The answer is likely never and how can any American really ignore that fact.
Sure, the greedy and entitled will think, well, where is my additional money and free ticket that has been held up for at least a month? I feel like this is the completely wrong attitude. Don’t bite the hand who feeds you. No, I am not I saying every decision and action taken by Trump and anyone acting on his behalf is perfect and/or even selfless or even slightly practical but…. is it really in contradiction to the people who voted, campaigned and had him elected in the first place?
For the sake of self healing, yes, he knowingly cheated against Hillary Clinton. I am not a professional journalist. I do not follow News stories but I believe, without a fraction of a doubt this is true. At the same time… Who came to bat for Mrs. Clinton even in her own party? Why was she not chosen for Vice President and walking into an entitled ticket just like Mr. Biden right now? Ever heard of the phrase two wrongs do not make a right and why is the second obvious wrong okay right now in history but the first completely ignored?
Since I did not vote, I will say without fear that I am in favor of our President sitting a second term. More than anything, I am a patriot. I know he deserves to continue to do whatever it is he has planned for the next four years, he has proven that the average American is at heart and I trust him to make the tough and unpredictable decisions he has to make small and large on a day-to-day-basis. Let him and America just be. We are a Nation of rebels and patriots. Let’s not disregard this obvious fact. Let us not take our extraordinary sacrifices in vain.
On a sarcastic note, he has raised and encouraged a damn sexy and smart family. Where is the faith that he has a vision for a sexy and strong America too? Has he proven this controversial vision? I love all faiths, cultures, ethnicities, and maybe even in spite of his flaws, we keep a little faith that the current President does too.. Even if it is just a fraction higher than the opposing party who took a free ticket over a minority who deserved it a heck of a lot more than he ever will.
