1. How long will it take for my digital marketing to go live?

a. 30 days or less from the time we receive your one-time set-up fee, content/images are provided and/or photoshoot(s) are accomplished.

2. Will I have control over my digital marketing package?

a. Yes, you will have the opportunity to make any/all changes before any new information appears on your website and/or digital advertising campaigns are sent or posted.

3. If I am dissatisfied with your services, may I cancel or will I be expected to sign a contract for a period of time?

a. You may cancel your service at any time without penalty and we will gladly allow you to use all content created until that point as you are the owner of all content created for your business, we do respectfully request creator/designer recognition. If you do not transfer your domain and hosting to a new digital service provider, your website may go down and/or any/all managed digital services we were providing for you.

4. Do you charge extra fees?

a. If you are a managed website client and we are managing website subscriptions, we will take care of annual fees for your domain, WordPress hosting, email and SSL Certificate(s) from that point forward in addition to the professional design and maintenance of your chosen digital marketing package. Again, the fee(s) for the above are included in your madelinecarlisle.com one-time set-up fee and monthly fee - we will never send you an additional bill for any of the above as long as you transfer these items to us. If you cancel service, we will happily transfer these items as instructed.

5. May I upgrade or downgrade service after my package is live?

a. Yes, you are not locked into any package. For instance, you may start with just the managed website and upgrade to SMC and Email Marketing at a later point after you have more client data collected/established.

6. Will you send me an itemized bill for your services?

a. No, as explained in the interview, I do not bill by the hour for my services. I am a professional website provider and I believe in small business affordability. From my experience, counting hours and/or minutes with a set price (these are my skills and this is what google says I should be earning per hour for them) does not work for anyone - the designer ends up spending all of her time on accounting and the small business ends up out-of-business before he/she is able to see a real ROI. Instead, I charge a small set-up fee which covers your domain, WordPress hosting, an SSL certificate, ALL design and content creation required to get your site live. After this, I charge a re-occurring monthly fee ONLY after your website is live. I will work with you to the best of my ability to figure out what YOU want but some clients are very hands-off, mostly because they are BUSY working their business. I can handle both types but I prefer the hands-off business owner who gives me direction and trusts me to do the rest (in the realm of web design/digital marketing, of course). IF you should stop paying your agreed upon monthly fee (lower than any other digital marketer I know of), I may or may not pull your website, hosting, etc. The idea is to build a win-win business relationship - you have a website you are happy with and is working for you and I am able to grow and scale my digital marketing company.
