As you can see, I saved an innocent Douglas Fir this year from being chopped down before its time by opting in on a faux white Christmas tree with a metal stand. It was easy to put together, very lightweight, and the pipe cleaner looking branches did not shed all over my floor so that is a bonus.
Minus the natural pine scent which was replaced with fresh linen and pumpkin spice candles courtesy of Glade and the missing element of nostalgia associated with an in-authentic Christmas tree experience, the change to fake was not so bad.
